Dine in the heart of Shanghai at the hotel’s Calypso Restaurant & Lounge, and get ready for the vibrancy of the autumn swanky era with multi-sensory experiences during a modern afternoon.
Inspired by the representative timeless black and white color of the FARFETCH brand, the hotel’s pastry team has created a selection of exquisite creations using blackberries, sesame and squid ink.
The blackberry choux, chocolate and vanilla cookie, house-smoked salmon ash croissant, Boston lobster with an ink cracker in a modern black color are all made with ingenuity. In contrast, the raspberry, rose, litchi mousse, chocolate fudge cake, the snapper and Nori rolls with Ikura, and the Parma ham brioche buns with overlapping color, are delicacies grabbing the limelight and everyone’s attention.
More than 10 types of savory and sweet treats are presented, interweaving light and shadow on a marble afternoon tea stand. The afternoon tea set is also accompanied by a special seasonal drink, the Starry Martini, which is as deep as a starry night but with a surprisingly fresh and sweet flavor.
